On Saturday my wife and I were in Oro Lake, which is SW of Regina. It used to be a Regional Park, but is now simply a community hall with some playground equipment and little-used basic camper sites. We took one of our dogs, who had a great time running around the park, and wading into the mineral lake. I nibbled on some chokecherries, while a wood tick nibbled on my leg before I found it soon after it started.
A cousin learned to drive, some pot-luck food was had for supper, and 80th birthday cake eaten before we took off again for Regina.
