Poutine Getting Stale – Facts Stay Fresh

Ezra Levant fans are taking the position that there is no scandal. Some go so far as to say there is no evidence, and the Conservative Party wasn’t the obvious benefactor of the Pierre Poutine Scheme to misdirect mostly non-CPC voters away from legitimate polls.

Meanwhile, real journalists, who’ve uncovered real evidence (which is online to view and listen to), easily contradict those ludicrous claims by pundits with hands over their ears, and their eyes shut tight as they write.
Unlikely a Tory staffer could have acted alone in Pierre Poutine scam: source

I’d have to say that is an understatement.
Is the female voice in the recording from a human, or an AI like Siri? If it’s a real human voice, then either Poutine is a woman, or they worked with a woman to record the messages for the robocalls. It seems to me that the address of the mall, and its waveform in the recording are identical when repeated, leading me to believe it’s a computer generated voice recording. Does anyone recognize the program that could make that voice?

Since multiple ridings got robocalls, and Guelph CPC staff would not typically have access to the phone numbers of non-Conservative voters from other ridings, at least one other would to have had to have helped Poutine in Guelph obtain those numbers. Without that help, one person could not make that many recordings, and do the research into each riding to send people to fake polls, plus hack into a secure DB somewhere for thousands of micro-targeted* phone numbers.

Peter MacKay said weeks ago that someone, Sona was implied, had been found guilty by the CPC investigation, and was let go by the party.

Elections Canada may not tell us who Poutine is for years?! As if! Justice delayed, is justice denied.

* Read this Macleans editorial in the new context of hindsight, and Robocalls, and “microtargeting”

[Layton’s words about Quebec] won’t mean much unless someone can manage to suppress the Conservative vote share, which has remained fairly intractable throughout the campaign; Stephen Harper’s supporters won’t abandon him, by and large, but he’s failing to add to them in any discernible number. The Tories have adopted a strategy of “microtargeting,” going for a majority more or less by making their existing vote more efficient.

  1. Good effort on this. Keep up the work and keep it in peoples minds. I think Libs are waiting after getting a little burned on their own robocall error in guelph. After reading about the infiltration into universities by using STudent UNion funds and the Cons funding students to campaign for student union positions, one can’t help but believe that the robocall is coordinated somehow.

  2. I don’t understand why this ‘Pierre Poutine’ is so upsetting to left wingers. All he did was “trick” people! I’ve been told here on this very blog that it’s OK to “trick” people when you act in “good faith” to save the world. Clearly this is exactly what ‘Pierre’ had in mind with his efforts.

It’s called the “Peter Gleick Defense”… and it’s loved and admired by all!! :)

    • Speaking of staleness, and who shows up? None other than a repetitive RedJeff.

If Poutine had called Elections Canada and said they were Elections Canada, and polling stations are being moved, then it would be a more accurate comparison. In any case, if you’re suddenly no longer opposed to tricks, I guess you’ll be retracting your claims against Gleick?

Tell me, where in the Elections Act does it say it’s okay for Poutine to say they represent a government agency, and then provide misleading information that causes people to lose Constitutional rights? You seem to think it’s required for individuals to come forward *to you*, for there to have been a crime. That sort of megalomania may need treatment before you can become a productive member of our society.
