After offering free email since the 1990s, to start charging per email account is an absurd insult to customers and should probably be illegal. The problem is the provincial government who could potentially do something about it, is hoping to sell off the crown corp, so they won’t do something to keep it affordable and popular.

Yeah, that’s just plain disgusting practice on the part of SaskTel management and of the current management in Wascana Park.
Typical. It’s like health care: You want to privatize something so your cronies can make big profits. But, the public version works well and is popular. The solution: Screw it up as hard as possible, then say public services don’t work.
Yep. We see it in SK, AB and ON. Probably QC and NB as well. At minimum.
