But now that she’s one of those politicians, Smith is suddenly far less bullish on Alberta’s capacity to innovate and adapt. Instead, she’s highlighting the cost of moving towards a net-zero electricity grid, [deceptively] describing it as “the most expensive campaign promise that has been put forward in this election.”
The math at work here, if you can even call it that, is dubious.”
Same crap going on in Saskatchewan.
In 2016 we were introduced to Trumpian fascism that included a travel ban on Mulsims until supposedly authorities had time to figure out what was going on. Alberta’s 6 month imposed delay on renewable energy projects is designed to be similarly disruptive while sending a clear negative message to any energy companies that aren’t based in fossil fuels. In 2019, the Saskatchewan Government ended Net Metering for new renewable energy projects, and they recently imposed an EV tax too, the first in North America (while coordinated with conservatives in Australia on the other side of the world).
And check out this corruption from Ford in Ontario:
John Tory, former Mayor of Toronto, had to resign because of improper screwing. Ford screwed the whole province of Ontario for billions of dollars to give to his buddies, and still hasn’t resigned yet? He’s supposed to go TO JAIL for corruption. Will the OPP do their job?
People who want a livable future need to put a pause on Conservative governments, because they’re ending life on Earth, they’re nearly openly corrupt, and have no compassion.
