Good News, and Bad News

First, the bad news. A study suggests that the process of cold water currents in the Atlantic Ocean are at risk of changing rapidly this century, earlier than predicted from past models. 2025 could bring the tipping point, or 2050, we don’t know yet.

This is being driven by climate change, which is being driven by fossil fuel burning. It’s a nearly unstoppable train mostly due to corrupt oil executives who knew by the 1970s that their product would end the world, but their scientific estimates calculated the worst would arrive after they were dead, so they covered it up.

In scientific good news, superconductor has been discovered that can operate at room temperature and pressure. This could have a lot of good impact on our lives if it can be scaled up quickly.
