Fall off your chair, it’d be appropriate.

According to Duncan, the proposed legislation will gut environmental protection but her claim was rejected by Conservative MP Michelle Rempel, the parliamentary secretary to Environment Minister Peter Kent.

“Our government is the first government in a long time that has actually cared about the environment,” she responded.

They show this by cancelling Kyoto, because the environment likes higher CO(2) emissions, because plants are part of the environment and need CO(2) to breathe. You don’t hate plants, do you?

Seriously, the Conservatives are a bloody disgrace. If history isn’t written by CEOs of multinational corporations in 50 years, the Conservative Party of Canada is going to appear on a long shit list. They have a funny way of showing they “care”.

    versus the public record of Keith Ashfield, Peter Kent, Joe Oliver
    and let me know why one is getting by on zero income with no staff
    and the others are being paid handsomely by Canadian taxpayers ..
    and have departments, staff and limos at their beck and call..

    Its not just that scientists are being muzzled.. and their studies ..
    its that ordinary Canadian’s that have been elected to federal politics,
    like Keith Ashfield are allowing their conscience and their intellect to be operated or controlled by other people. Are you there Keith ? Hello !!!! Wake up ..
    I’d like to see a note from his mommy.. that he’s actually Keith Ashfield ..

    The same wake-up call is needed in the brain of Joe Oliver.. get a grip dude !

    And Peter Kent .. hello out there… earth to Peter .. Canada to Peter

    Are all these folks out west, drinking cool-aid with Catheryn Marshall and Ezra ??
    Or taking a therapeutic sabbatical at the Fraser Institute.. a re-programming ?

    I want to see them drink shooters of heated bitumen, suck on the outflow hose from BC salmon farms, ingest some sea lice, bathe in the luxurious waters downstream from the tar sands and dust off with some mercury and then let the rest of us know its A-OK .. just f’in loverly .. Steve can join them, along with any ‘Ministers’ of his choice.. I await their report
