Never Waking Up

Spirit has taken a dirt nap on Mars, years after it was expected to fail. If only Microsoft, Apple, or Garmin could build devices half as reliable as a Martian rover, I wouldn’t have to make so many blasted RMA claims on or off warranty.

If only we put a higher priority on space travel than on war, we’d do a lot more interesting things than finding new ways to kill and torture. Instead, we’ll sink more into NATO, and encourage other countries to overspend on defence too.
