YouTube is never short of videos showing police and security guards pushing their weight around enforcing a ridiculous notion that the way to catch terrorists is to harass photographers in public spaces. This “Post 9/11” thinking, is also “Pre-Google Street View” thinking, and it HAS TO STOP! If someone says “in this post 9/11 world we have to ___” again, I think I’m going to crash my bicycle into the side of a city flower pot, and tell people in this Post June 6th World, we need better security for bicycles, and interviews for anyone seen flagrantly photographing or cycling near flower pots or flower gardens.
