Rewatched “Cast Away” [8/10] a few days ago. Also saw “Dallas Buyer’s Club” [6/10] which is based on a true story of AIDS in the mid ’80s. It starts out in a confusing way, and takes forever to get to the plot which never is very dramatic. It’s basically just a sad depiction of how the sick are treated in America.
Saw the entirety of “The Hobbit II: The Desolation of Smaug” [8/10], and “The World’s End” [6/10] a British comedy about a pub crawl that goes terribly wrong.
ADDED: “Brave” [5/10] is a really bland Disney movie about a little girl who doesn’t want to grow up so she lashes out at her mother and enlists the help of a witch.
“The Captains” [7/10] is a documentary about the Star Trek Captains, written and directed by William Shatner.
