ConCalls: Week of Hell #RoboCon

The Conservatives have had a (deservedly) rough week, and it’s about to get more rough next week. The Council of Canadians’ court challenge is Monday. The Prime Minister closed out the final news cycle hour this week by actually taking questions from the press, (which has hardly ever happened before). The Conservatives procedurally pushed a public petition calling for a Royal Commission inquiry into Robocalls, to next week. Will they prorogue first?

Coyne absolutely defines the Harper Conservatives, meaning I think to refer to the F-35 contemptuous boondoggle, but can be generalized to nearly any Conservative initiative.

When I say mess, I don’t mean to suggest charming ineptitude, but culpable incompetence, mixed with deliberate misrepresentation. What started with a catastrophic failure of oversight, progressed through many months of dishonesty, secrecy, and stonewalling, culminating in what can only be called electoral fraud — followed by still more dishonesty about everything that had gone before.

[emphasis added]
Yes, he actually pointed out the Conservatives were involved in election fraud following the fall of their government in 2011 due to contemptuously hiding the true F-35 figures from Parliament. Today we further learned that the PBO was correct and was unfairly smeared by the lying, bungling Conservatives.

So, what can we the people do before 2015? Plenty. First, this weekend in Regina is a C-45 protest on Sunday at noon, at the Legislature.

Back to RoboCon illegal phone calls for a moment. Here’s some prophetic thoughts on Elections Canada’s handling of the criminal phone calls in BC’s S-GI riding in 2008. Canada is now America 2.0, in the worst way possible: politically!

In March 2009, Will Horter from BC Conservation Voters wrote :
“The signal being sent to political parties, particular the Conservative Party of Canada – which has a track record of playing up to, if not over, the lines – is that they can have someone associated, but deniable, hire a U.S. call centre to flood a riding with spoofed or faked robocalls and Elections Canada will do little to get to the bottom of it.
If someone with subpoena powers doesn’t step up with some investigative muscle I predict many more Karl Rove-like black-op operations in future elections.”

-Hat tip to Alison at Creekside

April and May 2011 saw just that sort of escalated illegal operation, as did Irwin Cotler a Quebec Liberal MP faced with malicious, “reprehensible”, lying phone calls claiming he was stepping down. Conservatives have already admitted to the Cotler ConCalls, but not yet to the Pierre Poutine and related ConCalls of April and May ’11. How much longer must we wait for them to admit the truth about those illegal calls? Monday can’t come soon enough, nor the judgement afterward.

They are stepping back, but not stepping down. So, give ’em hell!

  1. I came across an exceptional article via the always excellent NorthernInsights.

The article, story and its included links re Alexandra Morton and Christi Miller, I was well aware of.. but Ms Morton (bless her vibrant marine biologist soul..) included several links I had not seen before, in her letter to one Dr Bernard Vallat.. One particular link takes you to Canada’s Justice Department website regarding Canadian law. After continuing my very careful read of Ms Morton’s letter and other helpful links, I also saw mention of how The Privy Council is involved. I suddenly realized there is a specific law.. and public record connecting infected salmon – suppression and obstruction of related science – directly to Stephen Harper

Would you have a look ? There’s a comment included below the article that attempts to pull the facts together in terms of collusion, malfeasance, incompetence, suppression and obstruction. There is a crime underway.

Since all of this is public record via The Cohen Commission I was startled by the obvious.. There’s links (below).. and as mentioned, the letter to Mr Vallat portrays a path of suppression, obstruction, delay, scientific muzzling regarding infected wild salmon, via infected Atlantic salmon eggs, virus testing etc through the CFIA, the BC provincial government and the federal Department of Fisheries and Oceans and on to The Privy Council..

I don’t need to tell you who runs The Privy Council ..
that’s Stephen Harper and Ray Novak

Northernisights may not understand who could actually end up in jail ….. ! (letter to Dr Vallat)

I am going to copy this note to you.. and send it to several other bloggers.
I hope mainstream media can follow up with the suggested requests in the ‘comment’ via freedom of information
