ConCalls: Timeline and Timeliness

CBC offers a timeline of Del Mastro’s apparent overspending on his campaign. I think the Prime Minister may regret defending Del Mastro.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper, in the House of Commons on June 20, 2012, defended Conservative MP Dean Del Mastro against opposition questions June 13 over his election spending.

The Federal Court hears part of the Council of Canadians court challenge today, regarding the 7 by-elections sought due to fraudulent robocalls made into those seven ridings. Will they quickly rule that the seats are vacant due to the blatant criminal irregularities? Time will tell. Note I wrote this other blog post on March 13th, 2012. Today is June 25th, 2012. That’s not a lot of urgency from the courts.
