Stick a fork in it, Elections Canada is done like dinner. They’ve been sitting on evidence that ties Prescott to Poutine, and have known since at least May, 2012. Why they are not aggressively pursuing this investigation, when it’s at the heart of a national democratic crisis, is anyone’s guess. Speculation ranges from the agency being compromised by Conservative insiders, right down to naivety. The bottom line is, something stinks to high heaven, and in the mean time we have a potentially illegitimate government in power while EC takes their sweet time uncovering the criminals who helped the Conservatives to power in May 2011.
ADDED: If the next election comes in 2015, then Elections Canada hasn’t done its job.
Well, we can ‘look forward’ to many more abuses now that we know EC to be tootheless.
Elections Canada is actually very busy right now convicting REAL election code violators… ie Guelph lieberals guilty of REAL ‘robocalls’ and ordering the return of Quebec Demokratik Party union payola money.
