The Anonymous retaliatory DDoS attacks on MasterCard and other financial barons complicit in the media shutdown, may or may not help Julian Assange and WikiLeaks. He’s essentially a political prisoner by proxy, of the USA. Because they cannot (yet) imprison a journalist, they are seeking to write new laws that violate their current constitution and free speech laws.
With such a formidable enemy, it’s difficult for people to stand in the light and fight back, so I’m thankful for those in the trenches fighting back against those complicit in taking our freedoms away. It’s completely cowardly, or ignorant, to stand with Joe Lieberman and the US State Department, however, if you consider yourself any kind of “activist”, or a fan of democracy.
WikiLeaks is the embodiment of a free press, and we’ve seen the past week the unbridled fury that the United States Government has for an uncontrollable global press. That makes their hosting of Press Freedom Day next year all the more ironic, as the State Department can’t even track which side of its mouth it’s talking out of.

Nice one. I don’t know what DDoS is, but a counter cyber-attack sounds fun.
